The account on the first year of our journey can be found here.
Another year has passed. Again, saying thanks is first:
My family, my friends, my acquaintances and strangers, couchsurfers, car drivers and truck chauffeurs – thank you for your support! Thanks to You, the first year of the expedition could be follo...Read Full Post »

First of all, thank you for all those family members, friends and acquaintances, who assisted us and the Kepesita expedition in any way either in the preparations for the trip or in the course of the first year of the trip. I hope that we were able to reciprocate with the blogs, photos and videos we made in the course of this year.
Secondly: we are ready for the second year!
Summary about the first year o...Read Full Post »

A year has passed since we set out on the mission to hitch hike around the world. We had plans for everything. Where we would travel, when, how we would film, what we would do. We planned to work in every country, to trade our items in every country, to visit organizations on the way. We even made a time schedule. The trip did not go according to plan. Not even close. We were supposed to hitch around the world together and we didn't get further than to Lebanon before we split up. Still,...Read Full Post »

A Kepesita Expedició jelenleg Libanonban tart. Mig különböző helyekről válaszra vártunk (hajós munka, iráni vizum, stb.), hogy eldönthessük, merre tovább, érdekes állásajánlatot kaptunk egy itt megismert barátunktól. A munka izgalmas, sok tanulási lehetőséget kinál és anyagilag is igéretes. Hosszas beszélgetések után úgy d...Read Full Post »

The KEPESITA expedition is still in Lebanon. We've been here so long because we’ve been waiting for answers from Iran about our visa and from the Boi Branco ship about maybe going to South America with it. It always looked like we would get the answers “next week”, so we have been continuously postponing the decision of where to go next. In the mean time, one of the people we met here gave us a tempting offer to stay and work with setting up a new business. While Kenneth has...Read Full Post »

This is what we wrote before the trip started about how and what we wanted to film.
We will document our travels in HD quality film thoroughly from the very start. With this material we will make video blogs as frequent as possible. Our ambition is to allure a production company with this material and ultimately have a TV series made about our journey.
The way we see it, such a series should...Read Full Post »

Inspired by the Earth Charter, we wrote this before starting on the trip.
We feel that it would be naive and disrespectful towards the people we hope to visit if we presumed that we, two ordinary guys, could come along and make positive change in their lives. On the contrary, we are hoping that they will make a positive change in ours.
The relationship between learning, teaching and making a difference is very clear to us. We don't preach in our nei...Read Full Post »
